All of us involved in training the
next generation of Christian leaders should realize that without
modeling and mentoring instructing is futile. While the pastoral
epistles are filled with carefully given instructions, they are also
filled with personal reminders of time shared and lessons more seen than
heard. I believe that Advanced Ministry Training will provide the
boots on the ground laboratory experiences to balance the heads in the
cloud library experiences being received by many of today's ministerial
students. I am praying that my generation of Christian leaders will be
able to say to tomorrow's leaders, "Those things, which ye have both
learned and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be
with you" (Phil. 4:9). Therefore, I eagerly endorse Dr. Farrell's work
with Advanced Ministry Training.
